Allgemeines
Mathias war der Befehlshaber der VII. Legion, als Rogal Dorn während des Großen Kreuzzuges auf Inwit gefunden wurde. Der Primarch übernahm die Führung der Legion, richtete ein einzelnes Wort des Dankes an den Space Marine und ernannte ihn zum High Castellan des Inwit Clusters. Während Dorn mit der Legion weiterzog, sollte Mathias 30 Regimenter für die Imperial Fists aufstellen.1 S.60
