Hm, wo packen wir die 40K-Webcomics hin? --Inquisitor S. 19:34, 29. Jul 2006 (CEST)

Subkategorie oder Artikel in Fanprojekte oder Subkategorie in Comics. --C.F.K. 19:54, 29. Jul 2006 (CEST)
--Inquisitor S. 20:02, 29. Jul 2006 (CEST)

Frage

Hello Mr. Ide,
at first, sorry for my brocken English.
I have a question, because I work by a free-project, how wikipedia, for warhammer 40.000
(lexicanum.de).I and the other Hobby-Gamers heart from your work by a WH40k-Comic for Games
Workshop.
We were all surprised as we see your works at your homepage and used it immediately by our
cyber-lexicon.
My questions:
1.Are more works available, as the three on your homepage?
2.When yes, can you tell me, were i can find this in the Internet or send me they in a E-mail.
I wants stress that we aren`t a commerced page, it is only from fans for fans.
I hope you can help us and thanks in future.

Antwort

Dear Andrej,
Sadly no, there are only three pages! I did them many years ago before Games Workshop began doing their own comics. They were based on Ian Watson's novel "Space Marine." I do not know if there is a translated version of this book available in German or indeed any other language other than English.
Ian Watson really liked the pages that I drew, but unfortunately, Games Workshop were less than interested. Watson's novel was pretty adult in content, as regards concepts and events, and in the middle 1980s, GW were trying to appeal more to younger audiences. Or rather, appeal to their mothers, as they were the ones with the money! Now, the game has gone back to a more adult audience again.
Thanks for writing to me and I am glad you like the pages! I am still playing 40k and am playing in the MedusaV online campaign as both space orks and my own space marine chapter, the Space Zulus. I do have a picture of them somewhere, and when I find it, I will email it to you. Cheers,
Tim
